Todcast Happy Hour - Four More Years.

Posted by Good Clean Fun Life | Thursday, May 10, 2012
By Tony RussoThe Bayside GazetteFour years makes a much larger cultural difference than one might expect, as we found out during this week’s Todcast. Although I’m not much older than Todd DeHart, my co-host, and he’s not much older than Mark Huey, our semi-permanent audience member, we have a cultural disconnect that has to do with the fact that we all went to high school at different times. Before and after high school a four-year age difference is negligible but the difference between an...READ POST.

Tales From the Chair: Sharing Good Times

Posted by Good Clean Fun Life | Monday, May 07, 2012
Helen Keller once wrote, “Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light.”...I can say from true experience that quote is right on!  I am an extremely blessed person as I seem to always state, and one of those reasons is because I have amazing female friendships. Although I have girlfriends I talk to everyday, I also have girlfriends I talk to once a week or once a month but no matter what they are ALWAYS there for me...whether to celebrate, come over with a...READ POST.

Snow Hill Love

Posted by Good Clean Fun Life | Thursday, May 03, 2012
I returned this week to covering the County Commissioners, which isn’t as thrilling as it sounds, but the upside was that I got to spend the day in Snow Hill, which I haven’t done in more than a year. The worst part about covering the county is having to go through the TSA-style search at the door. It isn’t just that I find the process offensive — although I certainly do — but also that it is demonstrably pointless. The only people who benefit from the two sheriffs protecting the...READ POST.

Weddings, Good Clean Fun for Life!

Posted by Good Clean Fun Life | Wednesday, May 02, 2012
We cover a lot of events, concerts, night life, and lifestyle sports like surfing and skating. We are into music and art.  We  try to promote all of those things and that is what you hear most about, assuming you actually return and read on a regular basis.  While covering the stuff we love and having fun doing it is great, there are some events that we are involved in that we don't really publicize, but often they are the most rewarding... Weddings.Yes,...READ POST.

Classy Walk Back in Time, St. Johns College vs USNA Croquet Match

Posted by Good Clean Fun Life | Tuesday, May 01, 2012
Growing up in Anne Arundel County, historic Annapolis was the place where I had my first job, first internship, 21st birthday, bachelorette party and rehearsal dinner. Many milestones have taken place in this town, and its been 15 years since the last big one...that is until this past weekend.St. Johns College, historic small college in the center of town, one I had driven by over and over again back in high school. Never thought much of it, knew they were one of my fathers clients for decades,...READ POST.

Tales From the Chair - Enjoy!

Food, Diet, Booze, Weight-loss, Medication, Stress, the list goes on and on….in our society these are words used everyday in our vocabulary and in many ways they all relate back to each of our own individual perceptions of ourselves..  I have been asked on a few separate occasions what the key is to staying so fit (and thank you to those beautiful ladies who said this!!! XOXO). Funny thing is that “I” like everyone else am constantly trying to “take better care of myself” and I...READ POST.

Gotta Watch Friday - Please Help us, Children of Africa

Posted by Good Clean Fun Life | Friday, April 27, 2012
Please Help us, children of Africa.  Notice I did not say  please help the children of Africa.  I think they could help us this time.Speaking generally of the the state of things right now, it seems we have abundant resources but have lost our smiles.  Maybe The Children of Africa video can show us how it is possible to have so little and be so happy.  This short film made by outstanding young filmmaker Devin Super Tramp embodies,...READ POST.

Something About a Man In Uniform - By Tony Russo

Posted by Good Clean Fun Life | Thursday, April 26, 2012
I try as hard as I can to be authentic, to remain employed, and not to hurt people’s feelings. The frequency with which these things are incompatible increases with the number of people I come across during a given week. As a semi-professional slob I can be overly critical of clothing, not because I feel as if I have taste but rather because I forget that I don’t.When the folks from Ocean 98.1 showed up in their uniforms, my initial reaction was not positive. I can write that because it took...READ POST.
